Your hometown medical cannabis clinic
Grants Pass is home base for Green Earth Medicine Clinics of Oregon (GEM). For about 18 years we’ve helped our neighbors in Josephine County, and patients all across Oregon, get and keep their OMMP cards. Grants Pass is the one place we offer in-person OMMP appointments, every Monday afternoon. Prefer to sit down with a doctor face to face? Book any available Monday afternoon slot on our online calendar.
Busy Monday? We also offer telehealth video visits Monday through Friday. That’s handy for patients in Cave Junction, about 30 miles down US-199, and across the Illinois Valley in Kerby, Selma, O’Brien, and Takilma. It also covers Merlin, Murphy, Williams, Wilderville, Wolf Creek, Glendale, and Rogue River. Same doctors, same paperwork, no drive.
Built for the Rogue and Illinois Valleys
Josephine County has a deep growing tradition, and the Illinois Valley is known well beyond Oregon for its cannabis farms. An OMMP card lets you grow up to six mature plants for your own medical use. It also lets you buy tax-free at local dispensaries, skipping the state and local cannabis taxes. For regular users, the savings add up quickly.
OMMP evaluations
Whether you come in on a Monday or connect by video, your doctor visit usually takes 10–15 minutes. We review your records and confirm your qualifying condition, such as chronic pain, PTSD, muscle spasms, severe nausea, or seizures. Then we hand you the physician forms the state requires. Our Paperwork Service ($35) prepares and submits your application. Expedited Licensing (+$15) can get you a digital 30-day temporary card within 24–72 business hours.
Cannabis, botanical, and psychedelic consultations
GEM is more than a card clinic. Our team of doctors, research scientists, and educators offers cannabis and botanical consultations with personalized product and dosing plans. We also offer psychedelic wellness consultations for adults exploring psilocybin, microdosing, or ketamine therapy. Ask about our own GEM formulas, too: E-DIOL and D-DIOL tinctures, plus our Maximal and Soothing Relief Lotions.
