Your OMMP card without the I-5 commute:

Portland has more dispensaries than any other city in Oregon. With an Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) card, you shop all of them as a registered patient and skip the 17% state cannabis tax and the local tax of up to 3%. Green Earth Medicine Clinics of Oregon (GEM) has helped Oregonians get licensed for about 18 years. For Portland-area patients, the whole process happens on a secure video visit, so you don’t spend an afternoon fighting Sunset Highway or I-205 traffic.

We serve the whole metro: Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties. That includes North and Southeast Portland, Gresham, Troutdale, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Milwaukie, Oregon City, and Happy Valley. O

ur only in-person clinic is in Grants Pass, close to 250 miles south, so for you telehealth isn’t the backup plan. It’s the better plan. Join from your phone, tablet, or laptop. There’s no app to download.

OMMP evaluations for new patients and renewals

Your visit is a short video appointment with one of our doctors, usually 10–15 minutes. The doctor reviews your records and confirms your qualifying condition. Common ones include chronic pain, PTSD, severe nausea, muscle spasms, migraines that cause severe pain, and seizure disorders. Want it all off your plate? Our Paperwork Service prepares your state application and submits it for you. Expedited Licensing can get you a digital 30-day temporary card in as little as 24–72 business hours.

Cannabis and psychedelic health consultations

Portland’s shelves are crowded with products: tinctures, vapes, concentrates, and every ratio of CBD to THC. Our cannabis and botanical consultations cut through the noise. A GEM specialist builds a plan around your condition, your current medications, and your goals, so you know what to buy and how to dose it. Curious about psilocybin, microdosing, or ketamine? We also offer one-on-one psychedelic wellness consultations to help you make informed choices.

Pricing at a glance

  • GEM OMMP visit: $180, or $130 with proof of OHP, SNAP, SSI, or veteran status

  • State registration fee (paid to OHA): $200 standard; $60 SNAP; $50 OHP; $20 SSI or veterans; $0 for veterans with a 50%+ service-connected disability rating

  • Cannabis & botanical consults: from $99

How it works

  1. Book online. Choose a weekday telehealth slot and finish the 5-minute intake forms.

  2. Meet your doctor by video. Confirm your qualifying condition and get your signed paperwork.

  3. Submit and shop. File with the state yourself, or let our team handle it. Then start buying tax-free at Portland dispensaries.

Portland FAQ

Do I ever need to come into an office? No. Portland-area patients complete everything by telehealth, Monday through Friday.

I’m renewing. Is the process different? Renewals use the same quick video visit. Book before your current card expires to avoid a gap.

What if I don’t have medical records? Book our $50 Medical Records Evaluation first. It creates the documentation you need, and then you’re ready for your OMMP visit.

Can I get a consultation without getting a card? Yes. Cannabis, botanical, and psychedelic consultations are booked separately from OMMP evaluations.
